Dianne Sheldon

My interest in quilting and patchwork started in my late teens when my aunt took me to see a small exhibition of Irish patchwork in London. It was a revelation, but I only felt able to read about the craft and dream! It wasn't until my daughter was at school that I signed up to a local class and I've been hooked ever since. I am a relative novice but I love exploring new techniques including hand and machine applique and quilting. At the moment I am trying EPP, and making a quilt for my niece's wedding. I tend to use a particular block as a starting point and 'designing' the quilt as I go, which is probably why it takes me a long time to complete one!
I would very much like to learn to cut and use curves accurately in my quilts, master free motion quilting and improve my hand quilting techniques.
